Due to a turn of events I did get out for a bit of a ride today after all. Nowt fancy, a straight out and back 53km in East Lothian. And you just know when you're rolling along at 40km/h with not too much effort on the way out.....that the way back is going to be a right old slog into the wind. And so it proved.

Sad news last night when I heard about the death of Johann Johannsson, one of my favourite artists of the last ten years or so. I've bought a fair few of his modern classical/electronic albums over the years and enjoyed a lot of his film soundtracks as well - that booming, dread-filled score to 'Sicario' being a particular favourite.

As for a favourite album of his....
