Canada Goose

Not wanting to waste the bright clear weather, and needing petrol for the car, I took myself off to Shepherd Meadows on the Blackwater River near Camberley.  I only took the camera with long lens in the hope for a good collection of birds on the Balancing Pool. 

There weren't too many birds around, but I rather liked this Canada Goose, and as there was little colour in the original shot, tried some B&W processing.

It was then off to get my petrol and to warm up with a cup of coffee, just in time to miss the hail and sleet which suddenly appeared!
