Sandycove

Today we went to the 'Little Museum' (a little gem) before heading to the National Art gallery and then Sandycove bay to visit the James Joyce museum in the martello tower. We also stopped at 'Sweny's', the chemist referred to in Joyce's Ulysses. Readings of Ulysses at the chemist and the martello tower were compulsory. :)

My blip shows the gorgeous light on Sandycove. I was going to blip the random sea urchin installation in the extra (through which you can see the tower in the distance, just) but the sea was the hands down winner.

Back at the hotel, there is a Brazilian carnival party going on. It's going to be another long night...
