Nostalgic
This past week DJ and I have been going through late FIL's slides, as we did find the old slide projector and it does still work. Isn't it strange to think that this used to be the height of media technology for presentations just two/three decades ago? In fact , after having looked at all FIL's slides we went on to take a look at mine which were mostly for museum talks and presentations. We'll have a good look at one of my talks about kampongs in Singapore tonight, as soon as I've posted this Blip with the Abstract Thursday results !
Thank you so much for all your AT entries, almost 80 entries, which you can all find here
This coming Thursday the optional theme is 'distortion', it could be any kind of distortion but if you can, do think of the natural occurring ones , like distortion through reflection , refraction or through water, ice, mirrors or glass for example. The tag will be AT138
Here is my list of 5 special entries from last Thursday's collection:
weeflecky for capturing a bin looking like an animal face
SandraSuisse for a vibrantly yellow natural lichen pattern
dfb24 for an amazing snow grid pattern
mambo for making patterns with kitchen utensils
kayakgirl for seeing and cropping the pattern in a feather
Thanks so much for all your great entries ! I'm already looking forward to your distorted abstracts next Thursday !
And thank you very much for your kind comments and stars for yesterday's flower Blip :-)
