Rest And Relaxation

 Athletes at the PNW Stadium were seen relaxing in various ways, resting up for the games tomorrow.  Team Canada Geese is always at the cutting edge of entertaining ways to nap, this being one of them.  The rest of the team was either drifting lazily along the venue or snoozing in the reeds.  

Team Crow conducted several one-on-one coach/athlete conferences in an attempt to reign in the wild peanut-chasing behavior seen in the earlier events yesterday.  See Extra

Team Squirrel has been uncharacteristically mellow but laid low anyway to avoid any guilt by association.

The weather in Pacific Northwest Stadium is not winter weather by anyone's definition so the ice-related events are on hold or will be moved to higher elevations if it stays as unseasonably warm as it has been since the start of the games.  

Your earnest PNW reporter is wondering if this is just the calm before the storm, and she doesn't mean a weather-related storm.  These athletes are always unpredictable.
