Red Tailed Hawk

I walked the Salmon Creek Trail which was quite busy with people on a Sunday morning.  I spotted a beaver den being built and many trees nearly downed by the beaver.  Three deer were grazing just off the trail and this hawk was in a branch right above the trail.  

I am really enjoying this new lens, (Tameron 18 - 400 mm) I have had it on my wish list since October, but hesitated to purchase as it will only work on a crop sensor camera and I'm thinking about upgrading my camera.  Last week I found one advertised for sale by owner, he had used it for one month and it was a good price.  It is so nice to go walking and only have the one lens.  Very pleased with it so far the convenience is great for walking or hiking.
