Went to the cinema this evening to see 'On the Road'. The film's received mixed reviews but I quite enjoyed it and thought it a fair adaptation of the book - many of the criticisms of the film (rambling, incoherent and misogynistic) are also true of the book. However, I thought the depiction of the beat generation was really good and the ending was particularly moving.
