keeping it simple...

...and yes Rick Stein is in 'all episodes' mode on the telly schlepping around the Mediterranean and spending most of his time, so far, on islands.
Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Mallorca and Corfu before heading off to Morocco.

I have to admit to not initially being a huge RS fan but his epic journeys through France on the Canal du Midi, the Far East,  India and  the Med have changed that.
Currently..ep 5!..he is in Corfu in tiny kitchens and restaurants (not a pizza or fish and chips in view) where dishes are made from whatever is growing in the garden or in the market..and of course olive oil and lemon.
THis effort now baking in the oven...as opposed to an ancient clay oven glowing with the olive wood coals (:
