How sad that the gorgeous blooms have to droop!!

Just went up the lane before we set off for London. Cool but bright and the cottage up the lane has had some beautiful dahlias which unfortunately are now in decline. I thought it so sad that the beautiful pinky purple ones have drooped their heavy heads and lost petals!!!
