Mount Pond: Splashy Shrug

Colder and crisper in large.

Some of the pond's surface had frozen this morning which made for interesting lighting effects on the icy surface (as well as amusing slips and slides), and there was also lots of squabbling over the various bread offerings that passers-by threw to the birds (onto the ice, and out on the water). Surprisingly, there was one piece of bread that none of the birds would take, in spite of a number of individuals investigating it.
The mallards got involved, but the shovelers and Cayuga kept out of trouble...
