Tawny frogmouth

We spent the day at Heligan as they had the Cornish owl sanctuary thete this week. They only had 3 owls, well 2 really as this bird is not really an owl but from the sMe family as the nightjars and kingfishers and kookaburra from Australia/New Zealand.
It is a strange looking bird and looks like a tree branch.
We sat in the bird hide for ages looking at the different varieties that came to the feeders.
