High Flying Birds

More High Flying Birds: Fabulous afternoon with Mr T and the first group from the Midland Gliding Club on a super and most interesting tour of the Control tower at Birmingham Airport.  Mr T and the rest of the gliding mob thoroughly enjoyed the in-depth insight and guided tour of the ACT and I did too – really interesting, especially the part when we actually got into the tower, wow, what a view and we actually got to see the Controllers doing their amazing jobs, no photos allowed here but then we were allowed to go out onto the balcony to take some;   we had to exit through a small trap door (not very elegantly by me I’m sure!) but well worth it with wonderful 360 views as far as the eye could see………  aeroplanes as well!

Some more magnificent flying birds I spotted were 5 Buzzards, 2 Kestrel and 1 owl on the twilight drive home.
