Will we ever have a summer again?

Nice day for a walk with the girls so I awoke the Mountain Buggy from her slumber, pumped up her tyres and dusted her down. The paths through the glen are a bit muddy and was thinking the buggy just wouldn't cut the mustard. Felt a bit strange to be putting a camera in my pocket and even stranger seeing potential blips everywere !!!

Came across this ensemble while walking. It was a pretty miserable summer weatherwise this year and it seems, for this family at least, they have given up hope of ever lighting the bbq and sitting in the garden at their table enjoying an ice cold bottle of Chablis on a warm summer evening. Perhaps they know something that we don't and we will never have a summer again!!
