Our Second Dinner

I'm talking about our group, former inmates of office C3.105, who are now office-less, just like everyone else.  We hardly see each other, and everytime we bump into each other we express our sorrow about this fact.  Tonight, we had our second dinner at the same Vietnamese restaurant, Little V.  It's now a 5-minute walk away from our temporary quarters, so I just hung around at work till it was time to leave.

This time, IHM, who's still on maternity leave, was able to join us.  She showed us pictures and videos of her terribly cute baby L!  We gave her our present, which is actually for the baby -- a silver cup with L's name engraved on it.  I ordered soup, Pho, and it was heavenly with the coriander and noodles.  After that, a veal dish.  It was so large I took half of it home to hubby.  After 3 hours, we left and went to another eating place, Dudok, for dessert.  They have the most heavenly velvet cake!  Spent another hour there, and then we went our separate ways, telling each other that we have to do this more often.

Took the shot while waiting for the rest.  The atmosphere is very warm, the smells are very savoury, the food fabulous, and the company excellent.  What more can anyone ask for after such a fine evening!
