Creatures from the Deep

My Dear Princess & Dear Fellows,

I was back at work today. I feel much better, though still slightly confused by why my reaction to a mozzie-bite should be so extreme.

After all, I think we have established that I have been bitten A LOT this summer already and this is the first time I've needed a bucket afterward.

But a bit of googling reveals that IF one is allergic to mozzie bites (you get welts if you are, and I do so I am) and IF the mozzie sticks around and has a LOOOOONG drink then you get more of this stuff - I believe the technical term is "mozzie snot" - pumped into your system. And THAT'S what can cause your immune system to go BUH-NONKERS and you get fever-type symptoms.

So that's what I assume happened. Basically I got attacked by the mozzie version of Norm from "Cheers". Little effer.

On the plus side I had a very quiet day today. I blipped this creation which I think is supposed to represent a sea creature. I base this on the fact that it has a whale-tail (see extra).
