Parktown Prawn

We had a bit of an early night and I was dead to the world when an unusual sound had me wide awake.

Turning on the light showed nothing out of the ordinary so back to sleep I tried. About three minutes later the source of the sound was identified.

King crickets is one of their other names but all I can think of is revolting. When challenged they squirt black stinky goo all over the place. Fortunately this one departed the bedroom and out through the window with none of that left behind.

So much for our early night.
