Tiny Tuesday - Smooth

The last time I saw my favourite flower I found a bud that had fallen to the ground and still had its lid half on but loosened. Of course I picked it up and took it home and it was like I had found the most wonderful treasure!

Since then it has completely dried out and when you take its smooth hard lid off the wonderful dried flower is revealed.

I've thrown a beautiful hibiscus into extra's which I saw in someone's garden on our morning walk. It was huge and blowsy in the morning sun and that red in the middle was as smooth as glass and quite wonderful! :o)
