Ancient Walkway

When I took this photograph we discussed whether this was very old, or an imitation. The concnesus was that it was just rpetending to be Tudor. When we got to the window next to it a sign informed us that it was in fact 16th century. We were all wrong.

If you are wondering why it leads to a wall, there is a walkway inside the wall.

If you've not been round Tamworth Castle don't go just yet. They are just doing major improvements, and soon it will be even better than before. Today we had £1 off our addmission prices because we could not go in some bits. Do visit it eventually though, Tamworth has lots of history.
