Low Sizergh Barn

Today's the day ............................ to come into the parlour

We called in for an afternoon cuppa at the wonderful Low Sizergh Barn Tearoom - right in the middle of milking.

There's a big picture window at one end of the tearoom where you can look down on the milking parlour - but this was actually taken at ground level where there's another viewing place, complete with steps up for smaller observers.

At this time of the year, the cows live in the big barn at the far end - and they just seem to wander into the parlour as places become free.  Do you think someone sends them in - or do they decide for themselves?  At any rate, it all seems to work without a hitch and the cows are very un-phased by it all.

I particularly liked their ankle bracelets - very 'in' this season, I believe .................
