Sunset at the Steps

Elly and Oscar were with us overnight. Thankfully, they tend not to rise so early as they get bigger so we had our usual cup of tea in bed before getting up. A bit later we had to go out to get pancake stuff, we don't usually bother for ourselves, and went on to have a walk down the front at Teignmouth. Somehow, I didn't pick up my camera as I went out so I used my phone to take a couple of shots. I've added one as an extra.

This afternoon after Marian took them home, it looked as if it might be a nice sunset so I went down to the river at Luxton's Steps. The tide was fairly high but I could get out just far enough to get a view of the setting sun. It went down in a blaze but the sky didn't colour up as much afterwards as I'd hoped it would.
