Walking the walls

Dentist's appointment first thing and, having psyched up for a filling, discovered that I'd been booked in for only a check up. Ah well - back in 3 weeks for the filling.

Difficult to concentrate on work today, for various reasons and, at one point, we found ourselves looking through some old photos and reminiscing.

A very short walk along part of the town walls before catching the bus home. The blip was taken above Castlegate - it's a quiet haven up there compared with the street and car park below!

The bus times are different during school holidays and, though I arrive home 30 minutes later, it's very pleasant travelling without a dozen or more rowdy school children. But today there were no other passengers either - just me (and the driver) - on a huge single-deck bus. Slightly surreal...
