Beach life

Lovely beach day out today meeting friends from home who were visiting here too.

We met at callao beach bar at 10.30 this morning for drinks - the children loved seeing each other away from school and home. We headed down onto the beach with children and parents too and spent the whole day swimming, playing beach volleyball, digging and chatting. It was lovely.

Abi and I wandered off at around lunchtime to the local supermarket for picnic stuff and returned with the goodies, we all picnicked and then carried on playing. The children were so well entertained with digging and searching for stones, it was great.

We finally left for home at 5.30pm feeling rather warm and pink!! Hurrah for summer and friends in Feb!
