Flurry
A flurry of snow and a flurry of birds.
Our garden has been bereft of birds recently. It was particularly noticeable during the RSPB garden bird watch survey. Throughout we have had our faithful pair of wood pigeons who like the shelter of the bird table roof.
We've been blaming the frequent visits by a sparrowhawk for the lack of small birds but today they were back in force. Siskins, greenfinches, blue tits. coal tits, great tits, chaffinches, pheasants, wood pigeons plus the odd dunnock, goldcrest, stock dove and robin.
I haven't been over the doorstep today so it's a shot through the window.
