Young white fronted tern - diving

It was practising, going round and round and diving in - and then much to its own surprise I think it did actually catch a little fish - sat on the water holding it for quite some time, then gulp and it was gone.

The light was very dull, so hard to get a decent shot, but I did learn a couple of new things with the camera, so it's all good practice.
