into the flower!

i should stare into flowers more often. they make interesting photos.

it turned out i didn't have to teach today. and i'll be teaching next week. argh! i could've been on a trip since yesterday! now i get no trip. sigh.

oh well.

marlan and i went to visit a cultural temple nearby as our consolation trip. it was a nice cultural site with no visitors before sunset, but after the sunset it's swarming with young people and sidewalk cafes. it seems people love going out at night here. they don't party. they just chill in cafe.

we'll come back another day when the weather isn't gloomy to get some more pictures. i don't know how to make grand buildings and an overcast sky into a great photo yet.
