A YOUNG ONE

....of a Grey Butcherbird (thank you to number one son in law for his assistance in naming it) perched on our balcony just now (I can see how dirty the glass is - eeek).  He has very young looking feathers and even though it's not windy, his feathers are fluffing about a little.  This is really an EB as we have been busy, as is usual on a Wednesday, with grandchildren - an enjoyable, exhausting day.  

The extra is a couple of English Bulldogs in the back of a ute that we saw on our way home from delivering the grandies.  How could you possibly drive around with these two beautiful looking dogs, unharnessed, in the back?
