I said the Mikes memorial bench would be installed in his home village of Thornton le Dale and here it is on the village green complete with is Brass Plaque, with the following words.

Mike Ambler (1951-2017) Lived in this Village for 27 years,
happily sat on this green reading the writings of Charles Dickens.
