Windy!

It is wonderful to see huge waves and wild seas, but I am beginning to get a tad fed up of all this greyness, wind and sleety rain!  I would leap at the chance to dispense with having to wear multiple layers and thermals, wellies and oilskins!    

Never mind, the days are getting longer and lots of plants in the garden are starting  to put on new growth already.  Made a huge pot of vegetable soup this morning; needless to say I put in some of the parsnips I dug up at the weekend, and the end of the bacon joint too.  Very tasty and just the thing for this weather!
