Compressed Laundry

After the other day's success with the compression effects of my 70-200 and 1.4x teleconverter, I was out looking for more subjects when I spotted these sheets hanging out to dry across from a nearby hotel. The patterns were nicely accentuated by my lens choice, even if they were not quite as sharp as I would like. I think that might be the result of trying to handhold a 280mm equivalent at 1/125 of a second. Perhaps I should have boosted the ISO some more, but might have lost that smoothness in the fabric. Oh the choices we are forced to make as photographers.
