Young Spotted Shag

This youngster was released today. I rang the family who found it weak and washed up on the beach last week. They loved being able to release it . We are having a lot of seabirds washed up this year- warmer seas, fish heading into deeper, cooler waters = hungry youngsters.Global warming at its worst.
