My daughter drove down to Bodmin today to collect a mature farm dog who is deemed too old for beating duties. We were all nervous. We loved his predessesor so much. We were devastated when he was put down. How could an eight year old, who lived in a barn and had never been on a lead, possibly adapt to centrally heated family life?
MAGNIFICENTLY is the answer. He loved all the attention and was perfect on the lead. I can't wait fir my first dog-sit duty early in March.
