Angel Of The North

The Angel Of The North turns 20 today.  This photo was taken many years ago by Mr YB so I cannot take the credit for it but I wanted to do a blip about it today.  

It was designed by Anthony Gormley and is located on a hill overlooking the A1 in Gateshead.  It is made from steel and stands 66 ft tall.  It's wingspan is 177 ft.   It think it is a wonderful sculpture and it seems as though many other people do to.
