Voyage of Discovery 4

"Many old music hall fans were present at the funeral today of Fred 'Chuckles' Jenkins, Britain's oldest and unfunniest comedian. In tribute, the vicar read out one of Fred's jokes, and the congregation had two minutes silence."
Ronnie Barker

An unexpected day at sea today.  The Captain says there's a weather system deepening over the Caribbean and if we don't head over today, the forecast is for 8-10m waves tomorrow, which would not be fun even on a ship this size.  So we're heading over to Jamaica a day early; the sea was a bit "lumpy" last night, quieter at breakfast this morning and more "do not disturb" signs on cabin door handle.

Joined at breakfast by a couple who were on the cruise last week, then spent the next two hours picking their brains for information about our destinations next week.  Turns out they are both vicars; well almost, one is a vicar in training.  I thought how unusual this was and mentioned it at dinner later that day, only to find myself in the company of another vicar!  Must be a vicar's outing?

K is working her way through the list of cocktails available.
