Hot!
I decided to experiment with macro photography for today's blip. It was easier than expected especially with the use of extension tubes.
In this picture, I am using my 50/1.4 lens with 3 extension tubes totaling 65mm extra. The interesting thing about tubes is that they are essentially plastic donuts that contain no glass and simply push the lens away from the camera. They work great except create some interest focusing challenges and I am fortunate to have Live View on my 40D to help.
In the future, I will be blipping more macro stuff, but this was my first planned shoot. You might be wondering what this is. The title gives a hint of the subject and you can visit this link to see.
