This morning the snow plough were at it again... This time there were two of them and they started around 6.30 in the morning. The sound when iron meets asphalt, and/or ice, is really screechy and unpleasant...and they continues to scrape away for 1 1/2 hour. When they'd gone, the silence was wonderful! 
Today I went to a nearby store to by a kettle, because mine is in pieces. The lid has fallen of and the automatic closure doesn't work anymore so I though it was time for a new one. I found it in the store rather quickly but spent a long time searching for a plastic folder for the home office. Of course it was in a corner of the store I hadn't looked closely in... 
After some time at home I decided to unpack the kettle and I saw that an important piece of the kettle was missing... Typical! So I need to go back tomorrow and get a new one. I'll ask them to unpack it in the store so I see directly that all pieces are in the package.
Time for tea...
