J and I continuing our grabbed escape time by tripping round the tourist hot-spots on our doorstep...

Fabulous place; we hadn't been for a couple of decades. The last time was when one of our daughters was in a primary school concert.

It is the oldest medieval guild hall in the world. As for the image title, this roof in the main hall is still held together by the original  15th Century oak pegs.

P.S. I'll do the other Merchants Hall another day... ;)
