Salt.

Spending the afternoon and early evening with Kanyl I took along my digiscoping mount.  Not for digiscoping but for an attempt at digimicroscopy.  He has a Victorian (I think) microscope  and as a kid I had clear memories or looking at salt and sugar crystals.

IT took a lot of fiddling as the digiscope mount isn't really a good fit for the ocular of the microscope.  Couple that with the fact it is over 50 years since I did any serious microscope work.  However I think I have cracked it and next time will do better.

I will also clean the lenses before I try again!  The shot is table salt crystals at x85 magnification
