Canadian!

I had a great lunch with Jenny at one of Kendal's new cafes, marred only by me forgetting my purse! Whoops, Jenny's treat!
My main reason for visiting Kendal though was to collect yesterday's post which the postman had taken away while we were in the attic with Andrew.
Could it be ? After all these months?
The eagerly awaited letter from Canada House was here! I fingered it a bit on the way home but refrained from peeking!
Rob was waiting in the garden and came rushing down, hands trembling, and yes, here it is!
Then a great Book Group meeting where we all agreed that Goodnight Mr Tom was a lovely book for younger readers, maybe rather simplistic for us though.
