The trap is set !

Our resident rat is still raiding the area under the bird feeder so this morning I've set up a feed trap for him which is designed to allow the rat to enter the trap and feed and go on his way unknown that he has had his last meal. It really was time do something drastic or put up with a far bigger problem if they have young.  Since placing the trap he has not been seen but I wonder if the black cat that appeared in the garden early on, has something to do with it ?  Watch this space
