Lesser Celandine

There is a Flower, the Lesser Celandine,
That shrinks, like many more, from cold and rain;
And, at the first moment that the sun may shine,
Bright as the sun itself, 'tis out again!'

From The Small Celandine      William Wordsworth

Actually these Lesser Celandines are holding up pretty well considering. What a grim day - tons of rain, even a rumble of thunder and the garden is totally saturated, mud and bog abounding. A quick rush outside when it wasn't lashing quite as much in an attempt to tackle Markus' latest challenge - low DOF. Very difficult is all I can say and not sure I have achieved that, or a rim or tip but hey ho. It is flower Friday too.
