Fonte Benemola

Lots of bird song (mainly blackcaps, Sardinian warblers, serins, song thrushes) as we did this enjoyable circular walk through a rock-strewn valley up to the source of the river, back through a cork oak wood. Carob trees grow wild here - big trees, some with huge old trunks and tell-tale brown carob pods strewn underneath.
