Hanging on the Telephone

I had a phone call from the hospital yesterday saying that I might have a place on the operation list today, I would get a phone call around 10:30am to confirm.

I psyched myself up but the call never came.  It’s mentally exhausting.

I did eventually get a phone call that suggests I may have an operation in 2 weeks.

I’ve been sleeping for most of the day.
