Keep fit!

The closest I have got to aqua-aerobics is this photo. The water is chilly and I am sticking to the heated rooftop pool.
 
There is total absence of women among the hotel staff, not surprising in a Muslim country perhaps especially in this context because the hotel is literally perched between the desert, and the Red Sea.
 
All the male staff work a rota system of 30-40 days on then ten days off when they return to their families in Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor, making the ten hour journey by bus.
 
   
Because of fears of terrorism the hotel is half empty which is shame. Egypt needs tourism and it represents remarkable value for money offering excellent service and good weather, OK this week has been a bit chilly.
