Hawthorn Bush

I pass this  hawthorn bush most days when I am walking the dogs on the beach. It is located 9n the corner of a field that is adjacent to the the wide open spaces of the salt marsh. I kind of like the way it s snuck down behind the wall to protect itself from the winds that rip across the salt marsh. This part of the field tends to get very waterlogged and is for the most part uncultivated.
