Last summer days at Lake Tarawera

A gentle jaunt in the boat this afternoon revealed numbers of our aquatic neighbours and even a pair of late black swan cygnets.
Lots of weekenders and day-trippers enjoying the beach in front of our bach and our guests in Hermione Cottage just loving their sunny spot and short few yards to boating and swimming right outside the front door.
Finally, it feels like summer !
