Shrooms

Today went 'opposite my wishes' (a phrase I have adopted from an Afghan car sticker that declared 'life has gone opposite my wishes'). I persuaded T into a trip to Leeds Castle to chase photograph the ducks but on the way we got a flat tire. By the time we had restored the car to working order it was too late to complete the mission.

We headed to the park and I snapped some mushrooms - there was a real beauty I was keen to get but when I asked T to move his foot out of the shot he sidestepped the wrong way and squished it. We had a short wander in the park but I am on crutches at the moment and it was a bit slidey under foot so we gave up. We popped to Loose village and had a short walk there too. No chestnuts anywhere! So no chestnuts for tea. It was still a lovely day and so nice to get out to the park. Hope you are enjoying your weekends! :)
