The year of the Dog

新年快乐！恭喜发财！

Yesterday was officially Chinese New Year, but in Chinatown The Hague the celebrations are shifted to today.

The ceremonies with the firecrackers and dragons at every shop in Chinatown is always a spectacular sight and draws a lot of folk.

Tough to find a front row viewpoint, but this shot over the heads of people in front of me is pretty satisfactory anyhow.  (note there are two 'extras')
