It's Spring....

sang the Yellow Bunting, but the Swans did not agree!
A lovely calm day and the Yellowhammer was singing to a mate. All the other birds have started too, so it is the beginning. Temperatures did not drop below freezing all day and there was no overnight frost. 
The lochs are thawing, despite the looks on the Swans faces!
I have found Pussy Willow and Hazel Catkins, but only in sheltered spots.
It is good to see blue skies and sun.
