ARGH! Another abandoned match!!!

Our scheduled Scottish Cup match with Johnstone Burgh was postponed this morning so we lined up a friendly with Eastvale at Dalgety Bay Sports Centre.

All going well and we were leading 6-1 into the 78th minute when an off-the-ball incident sparked a brief melleé of players before the Eastvale team walked off under the instruction of their manager.

I actually missed the incident, but apparently our player headbutted one of theirs. Knowing the player involved, his 'bark is worse than his bite' this surprised me greatly. But I was told by some of the lads that he had just been elbowed in the face moments before and lost the plot.

A sour end to a confidence-building game.

This blip sees Andy Watt burying home his chance to make it 3-0.
