Stirling Castle

This Lego model is on display at Stirling Castle. It has over 2,000 minifigure soldiers and over a million bricks. We loved the wee kilted guys and were gutted you couldn’t buy them in the shop. The model is of the Jacobite risings, and the attention to detail is fab. Soldiers are wearing the correct uniforms and everything - I know this because I went with 2 war and soldier nerds. A n C could’ve spent hours and hours there....many other families passed by while we looked and looked and looked. D was happily entertained by the pile of Lego provided for play.
The newly updated palace is very impressive, and brings alive how the rooms would have looked in the 1500s.
Had a very nice Jaffa loaf with my hot chocolate in the cafe.
